Now Flying
As of now, flights to Kiribati will begin with a weekly Fiji Airways service from Nadi to Tarawa whilst regional carrier Solomon Airlines will operate a fortnightly service from Brisbane (via Honiara) in August and September which will be amended to a weekly service from 01 October 2022. Nadi and Honiara will serve as connecting hubs from Australia, New Zealand, North America and Asia. Direct weekly flights from Honolulu and Nadi to Kiribati Island (Line Islands of Kiribati) is expected to begin later in the year.

Customs and Duty Free
Your personal concession allows you to bring into Kiribati: 2.25L of portable spirits, 4L of wine or beer, and 200 cigarettes or 250 grams of tobacco applicable to ages 21yrs+ only.
Health Requirements
Please ensure you are fully vaccinated and healthy before you travel to Kiribati. A proof of Vaccination or certificate may be required upon arrival. It is also recommended that you bring with you any personal medication that you may need during your visit.
Biosecurity
You know the drill, ‘Please declare upon arrival’ – all plants, fruits, vegetables, seeds, animal meats and poultry. A permit will also be required for the to the importation of live animals and meats / poultry.
